The Institute of Finance and Financial Regulation was the local supporter of the 20th Macro Finance Society (MFS) Workshop, hosted by the Bank of Greece, on 15th and 16th September 2022. The workshop was co-organized by Professors Francisco Gomes (LBS), Dimitris Papanikolaou (Northwestern & IFFR), and George Skiadopoulos (IFFR Director, Univ. of Piraeus & QMUL).
This has been only the second time that MFS has held its workshop outside U.S. IFFR is delighted and honoured to have supported the MFS workshop.
Leading academics served as speakers and discussants on topics of interest to academics, corporates, investors, and policy makers. Attendance to the workshop was restricted only to the MFS members and some local invited participants.
The mission of the Macro Finance Society, founded in 2012, is to advance and disseminate high-quality research at the intersection of financial economics and macroeconomics. Leading academics serve as MFS members.
