Iolcus Investments AEDOEE was founded in 2011 (initially as Iolcus Investments AEPEY), is based in Greece, and operates as an Alternative Investment Fund Manager.
Iolcus is licensed to provide portfolio management, investment advisory and order transferring services, and is supervised by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission. It is also a member of the Association of Institutional Investors.
Iolcus offers discretionary management and advisory investment services to private and institutional investors active in the global and/or Greek markets covering equities, bonds and alternative investments. As of September 30, 2024, the company’s total assets under management were €1.2 billion.
In 2015 Iolcus established the Apolis alternative investment funds platform (AIFs), domiciled in Luxembourg and operating under the SIF-SICAV structure. Apolis funds are regulated by CSSF (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier). More specifically, Iolcus manages the "Apolis Global Macro -1" fund, which employs a discretionary global macro strategy and has an absolute return objective, and the "Apolis Hellenic" fund, which is a multi-strategy fund focusing on the Greek market.
Iolcus was acquired by Piraeus Group in June 2022.
