Evangelos Memos, Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management, Piraeus Asset Management MFMC

Mr. Evangelos Memos is a member of the Investment Department of Institutional and Private Portfolios of Piraeus Asset Management M.F.M.C. since June 2013, after the merger of the company with ATE M.F.M.C, from where he came. He began his professional career in 1991 at KTIMATIKI M.F.M.C. where he worked eight years, three years as an Investment Analyst and 5 years as an Investment Manager. From 1999 to 2013 he worked at ATE M.F.M.C. as an Investment Manager and in parallel as Deputy General Manager since 2000. For some periods he was responsible for the regulatory compliance of the company and the risk management. He holds a B.A. degree in Economics from the Economics Department of Economic University of Athens and an MA in Finance & Investments from the University of Exeter, UK. He has been certified by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission as a Portfolio Manager and as an Analyst and by the Athens Derivatives Exchange as a Market Maker for Derivatives. Also he is a CFA Charterholder.
