Praveen Jagwani, CEO, UTI International Singapore Pte Ltd

Praveen Jagwani has 32 years of experience in banking and investment management. Based in Singapore, he has been in his current role for sixteen years and has the mandate to build a global franchise for UTI’s India centric asset-management. Praveen started his career with ANZ Grindlays Bank, working with them in India, Australia, and Bahrain across Credit, Consumer Finance, Systems, and Private Banking. Later, at Standard Chartered, as the Chief Investment Officer for the Middle East and South Asia, he built the Wealth Management and Investment Advisory business. He then joined Merrill Lynch in London and managed their Hedge Fund and Private Equity Advisory function for Europe and the Middle East. He holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, a Masters in Operations Research, and an MBA. In 2002, he completed the Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA) program. As head of UTI’s international business, Praveen is responsible for executing the global growth strategy and building a sustainable asset base. He oversees UTI's five international offices: Singapore, Dubai, London, Paris, and New York.
