Dr Lukasz Pomorski, Senior Vice President, Acadian Asset Management

Lukasz Pomorski is a Portfolio Manager and a Senior Vice President with Acadian Asset Management. Before joining Acadian, he was Head, ESG Research and a Managing Director at AQR Capital Management, LLC. Lukasz is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, where he teaches a Master-level course on ESG Investing and was previously an assistant professor at the University of Toronto and a Lecturer at Yale University. Lukasz's research on portfolio management and sustainability has been published in major industry outlets and academic journals. He also recently published a book, The Puzzle of Sustainable Investment. Lukasz has served on multiple industry committees and working groups, including at UN PRI, IIGCC, SBAI and is an associate editor of the Journal of Investment Management and the Journal of Beta Investment Strategies. Lukasz earned a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Chicago, an M.A. in finance from Tilburg University, and an M.A. and B.A. in economics from the Warsaw School of Economics.
