
Dr Jenny Leivadarou, BoD, Independent Non-Executive Director ELLAKTOR Group
Dr. Jenny Leivadarou is an engineer focused on innovation and serving as a business advisor at the Teaching Factory Competence Center, a board member of the Ellaktor Group, and a member of the National Accessibility Authority. She has 18 years of experience in infrastructure projects, industrial solutions, natural resource management, national and European ESG legislative frameworks, and strategic investment planning for energy transition and circular economy. As an industrial solutions expert at the Teaching Factory Competence Center, she is involved in research and industrial projects related to artificial intelligence, robotics applications, automations, digital and augmented reality solutions. Throughout her career, Dr. Leivadarou has contributed to projects of the European Union and the World Bank and has worked in international organizations such as the United Nations, as well as in large corporations. She studied civil engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and went on to pursue postgraduate studies in water resource technologies. She later moved to the University of Cambridge in the UK, where she earned a second master’s degree in infrastructure economics, followed by a PhD on industrial patents from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. In parallel, she has been actively engaged in issues of social inclusion and accessibility. She also regularly participates in women's empowerment initiatives, encouraging women to engage with technology.
